The Archdiocese of Anchorage invites applications for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The successful applicant will start as soon as practical but beginning no later than August 1, 2013. The position is located at its office in Anchorage. The Archdiocese of Anchorage encompasses all of South Central Alaska including Kodiak Island and the Aleutian Chain.

The CFO is responsible for leading and coordinating Archdiocesan operations and administration. The primary responsibilities will be:

• Administrative Leadership and Team Management
• Accounting and Financial Management
• Operational Management
• Technology Management
• Strategic, Policy and Planning

The successful candidate will have five years of proven effectiveness in leadership and management in these areas. The CFO will have a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in a relevant field such as accounting, business administration, economics, finance, management, marketing, and computer science or information technology with a minimum two years’ experience in non-profit or church administration or equivalent experience. CPA, CMA, MPA, and/or MBA are preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position closes on April 15, 2013.
